In our pursuit to look after the interests of our students, we have adopted the Student Protection Scheme (SPS) and opted for two means of providing student protection:
- as per the terms and conditions of the CASE-PEO agreement dated 28th January, 2005 between CASE and the PEO (Nanyang Learning House). More information about this can be found on the CASE web site at www.case.org.sg.
Nanyang Learning House has a declared policy for all students to enter into a Standard Student Contract by signing with the student or legal guardian.
Students are subsequently advised to pay their tuition fees through the Standard Tuition Fee Account (Escrow).
The SPS serves to protect the students' fees in the event a Private Education Organization (PEO) is unable to continue operations due to insolvency, and/or regulatory closure. Furthermore, the SPS protects the student if the PEO fails to pay penalties or return fees to the student arising from judgments made against it by the Singapore courts.
Nanyang Learning House has a transparent and legal framework for refund of course fees in the case of transfer and withdrawal. Our Transfer, Refund and Withdrawal policies are clearly stated in the Letter of Offer and the Student Handbook, so that students are duly informed.
